Terms and Conditions for Plus+ Health App Payment Portal by Pencil For Change.

  1. General : By accessing and using the Plus+ Health application (“App”) or its website, operated by Pencil For Change. (“Company”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) governing all transactions made through the payment portal. These Terms apply to all users, including but not limited to patients, caregivers, donors, and buyers utilizing the App’s services, such as event bookings, healthcare service bookings, item purchases/rentals, and donations. The Plus+ Health App is available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
  1. Payment Gateway : Plus+ Health uses Razorpay, a third-party payment gateway, to process all online payments. By initiating a payment, you authorize Razorpay to process transactions on behalf of Pencil For Chang . All payments are subject to Razorpay’s Terms of Service (available at Razorpay’s official website), which you agree to comply with when using the payment portal.
  1. Accepted Payment Methods : Payments can be made using the following methods, as supported by Razorpay:
  • Credit cards
  • Debit cards
  • Unified Payments Interface (UPI)
  • Net banking
  • Digital wallets
    The Company reserves the right to add or remove payment methods at its discretion, subject to Razorpay’s capabilities.
  1. Pricing and Billing :
  • All prices for services, event bookings, item purchases/rentals, and donations are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified.
  • Applicable taxes, including Goods and Services Tax (GST), will be applied as per Indian law.
  • Pricing for services (e.g., doctor consultations, physiotherapy sessions, item rentals) and delivery charges may vary based on location, branch, or service tier (Basic or Premium, as described in the App documentation).
  • Users will receive a detailed breakdown of charges, including taxes and delivery fees, prior to confirming any transaction.
  1. Payment Process :
  • Payments for services, events, items, or donations must be completed through the App’s payment portal at the time of booking or checkout.
  • Upon successful payment, users will receive a confirmation via email, SMS, or in-app notification, subject to the integration of the SMS service (currently ongoing, as per App documentation).
  • Failed or incomplete transactions may result from issues with Razorpay, banking channels, or user-provided payment details. Pencil For Change is not responsible for delays or failures caused by third-party systems.
  1. Refunds and Cancellations :
  • Event Bookings: Cancellations for event registrations are subject to the event-specific cancellation policy displayed at the time of booking. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 5–7 business days via Razorpay to the original payment method.
  • Healthcare Services: Refunds for canceled doctor, nurse, or physiotherapy bookings depend on the service provider’s policy and must be requested within the cancellation window specified in the App.
  • Item Purchases/Rentals: Refunds for purchased or rented items (e.g., medical equipment) are subject to the return policy outlined at checkout. Rentals may incur pro-rated charges for early returns.
  • Donations: Donations made to campaigns, patients, or the platform are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise in the campaign terms.
  • Razorpay may take 5–7 business days to process refunds, depending on the payment method and banking channels.
  1. Security :
  • All transactions are processed through Razorpay’s secure platform, which complies with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS).
  • Pencil For Change does not store your credit card, debit card, or banking details on its servers. All payment information is handled securely by Razorpay.
  • Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and ensuring secure access to their devices.
  1. Subscription Plans
  • Plus+ Health offers Basic and Premium service tiers for certain features, such as video consultations, family dashboards, and advanced analytics, as outlined in the App documentation.
  • Subscriptions may be billed on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly or annually) and can be managed or canceled through the App’s user account settings.
  • Failure to pay subscription fees may result in suspension of access to Premium features until payment is cleared.
  1. Limitation of Liability
  • Pencil For Change shall not be liable for any failed, delayed, or interrupted transactions caused by issues with Razorpay, banking systems, internet connectivity, or user-provided payment details.
  • The Company is not responsible for any losses, damages, or inconveniences arising from third-party service interruptions, including payment processing delays.
  • The App’s services, including event management, healthcare bookings, and item purchases/rentals, are provided on an “as-is” basis, and Pencil For Change
  • does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
  1. Governing Law : These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of the Plus+ Health App or its payment portal shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, India.
  1. Modifications to Terms : Pencil For Change  reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on the App or website, and continued use of the payment portal constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
